Welcome to my wood shop.
I appreciate you taking the time to peruse my site and I hope you find it enjoyable.
If a piece is sold out, I will let you know the lead-time for completion. I want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied after inspecting the item when you receive it, I will give you a full refund and do everything I can to keep you as a customer.
I do not want you to take home one piece one time. My hope is that my wood shop is a place you could continue to consider bringing home a new addition to your home or as a gift for some one else's home, for years to come.
I care deeply about the quality of each piece and doing the little things right. I hope that any imperfections you find will not detract from the overall beauty, functionality, and experience.
As with cedar wood pieces that are kept outside, you can regularly treat them with exterior polyurethane to keep the "new wood look" or simply let it age to a silver-gray patina that only nature can provide.
If delivery is needed, in-person or carrier, the cost will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Most "local" deliveries should be free of charge.

Chevron Bench - 1 in stock *Sold*
Price | $295
Dimensions | L 42" x W 15" x H 17 1/2"
Description | Solid Western Cedar 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" thick frame with 3/4" chevron inserts. The ledge that holds the chevron seat design is reinforced with cedar dowels. The legs and support frame are solid 1 x 4 Cedar.
I burned the frame using the Shou Sugi Ban method. This practice further weatherproofs the wood while giving a striking contrast to the seat. After the base has burned, it is brushed, wiped, and then coated with exterior polyurethane so no soot will come off when handling.
The wood glue I use is rated for outdoor use and there are many videos showing when a glued joint is hit with a hammer the wood splinters and breaks, but not where it was glued.
Outdoor rated wood screws were used and cedar wood plugs inserted to hide them where needed.
Saturday morning java.
Cedar dowels spaced before drilling and installing.
Shou Sugi Ban process.
A minimum of four different sanding grits used.
Clamps...lots of clamps.
Chevron Planter - 2 in stock *Gifted*

Description | Constructed with 3/4" Western Cedar for the frame. The chevron pieces are 2" x 1/2" slats. The interior has decorative framing to soften the look of seeing the end cuts, while adding more stability to the piece.
I added interior molding for strength and beauty.
Cedar plugs to hide outdoor rated screws. Wood cleats to hold bottom pieces, prior to applying three coats of polyurethane.
This process weatherproofs the cedar, while adding a striking contrast to the overall appearance.
Upon request, I will drill drain holes in the bottom boards. They are removable.
A beautifully matched set.
Vase Planter - 1 in stock *Sold*
Price | $110
Dimensions | H 16 1/4" x W 16"
Description | Solid 3/4" Western Cedar.
Even though it is inside the planter and may not be seen, I enjoy adding little details to cover end cuts like the banding I added inside just below the top mitered board. It just feels like it's the right thing to do, in order to give it a more polished look.
Outdoor-rated pocket screws are used to fasten interior walls.
Mitered corners and wood plugs.
You can line with coconut fibre to add soil or simply place a potted plant inside.
Some use these as a Christmas tree stand in their home!
